Brussels Sprouts Gone Wild: Sriracha Honey Bacon Blitz!

This recipe is sure to change the way you see Brussels sprouts forever! The combination of sweet honey, spicy sriracha, and savory bacon creates an addictive flavor explosion that everyone will love.

Ingredients:

1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

8 slices thick-cut bacon

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons sriracha (adjust for desired spice level)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Transfer the cooked bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease. Crumble the bacon once cool.

Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Spread them out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and slightly browned.

While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, whisk together the honey, sriracha, soy sauce, in a small bowl.

Once the Brussels sprouts are done roasting, remove them from the oven and toss them in the sriracha honey glaze. Return them to the baking sheet and broil for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the glaze is bubbly and slightly caramelized.

Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and sprinkle them with the crumbled bacon. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Tips:

For a fun twist, add a sprinkle of sesame seeds or chopped peanuts along with the bacon for an extra flavor and textural crunch.

If your Brussels sprouts are different sizes, adjust the roasting time accordingly. Smaller sprouts may take less time to cook.

Don't overcrowd the baking sheet when roasting the Brussels sprouts. This will ensure they cook evenly and get nice and crispy.
